New name. New blog.

So I decided to make one of those "married blogs." Most of my married friends have blogs and, I have to admit, I read them all. It is nice to know what they are doing with their lives these days. So here is my "married blog" and I hope some peoplewill actually read it.

Skyler and I have been married for 17 days now and it still does not feel like we are married. When does the "oh my gosh I'm married" feeling kick in? It still feels like we are on one big date. We didn't see each other for 2 months this summer and it felt like forever! It was so nice to see him again when he came out to Tennessee a week before the wedding. He calmed me down and helped me withall the stress from wedding planning. But all the stress paid off. The wedding was perfect. It was better than perfect! It was all that I imagined since I was a little girl and more! Maybe later when I have more time I will write a post all about the wedding for those who couldn't come.

We went to Disney World for our honeymoon and it was so perfect! We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort for 4 nights and 5 days. We went to all four parks and then to Downtown Disney on the last day. Here are a few pictures:

Our 3D glasses on the Toy Story Mania ride
Yes we had to get the Ear Bride and Groom Hats :)

We love Jasmine and Aladdin

So that is just a little about the past 17 days of our new lives together. Now we are waiting to move into our new apartment. We are going to live in Holladay, Utah :) We are so excited to finally be in an apartment! We have been living in h
otels since we've been married. We were in this little place.
It had a tiny tiny kitchen and a very small bathroom with no towels and a super small bed. And it also smelled like cigarette smoke. We were supposed to stay there for 2 and a half weeks but we were able to find a place to stay with some family friends. We are so grateful for them! Now just 10 more days until we can finally move into our apartment.

I hope I can update this blog often and help every stay informed with what we are doing :)

  1. Congrats again! I'm so excited for you! As for the 'married' feeling, I think it kicked in when calling Paul my 'husband' instead of boyfriend or fiancé didn't seem so weird anymore! Then you'll have a kid and you'll be like, "Wait a second, I'm a MOM!? When did this happen?!" Good luck on your new life together!!
